How it works
This product is a bait that works by allowing foraging worker ants to consume the liquid and survive long enough to carry it back to the colony.
- Targets the colony: The bait is shared with the rest of the colony, including the queen, which eventually eliminates the entire infestation.
- Slow acting: The process is slow enough for the ants to share it widely. Complete control can take up to two weeks.
- Initial increase in ants: After placing the bait, you will likely see an initial increase in the number of ants, as they are attracted to the sweet liquid. This is part of the process and indicates that the bait is working effectively.
How to use
To use the 1-ounce bottle, you will need to set out bait for the ants to access.
- Apply the bait: Apply a few drops of the liquid onto the included cardboard squares or other non-absorbent surfaces.
- Place the bait: Place the baited cardboard near ant trails, baseboards, under cabinets, and other areas of high ant activity.
- Monitor the area: Leave the bait undisturbed while the ants are feeding.
- Keep it fresh: Replace the bait when it is depleted.
